Best song remake in my opinion is "Sound Of Silence" by Disturbed(Heavy metal band but this song is not heavy). Sang it better than Simon and Garfunkel and brought the meaning of the song to a whole new level.
A lot of pop singers do copy songs off of each other, it's like just come up with your own ideas...
