I wrote my essay on the topic here: https://gamejolt.com/@Tricky/post/i-still-remember-xd2v9dme
(If the date looks sooner than 9/11 to you, please note I live in a time zone that is approx 6 hours ahead of New York).
Now I don't wanna speak in "heroes" (I hate the term), but of people who fell victim to a conflict they were not even part of until the very moment they met their doom. My thoughts are with them. I can only try to imagine how horrible their final moments must have been, and yet I know I'll never succeed.
This is indeed not the moment to be political. This is a moment to pay respect to those who needlessly lost their lives that day. Pray for them if you want, you don't have to pray if you are not religious, as there are also other ways to express things.
I can only hope for a world where things like these won't happen anymore.
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one.
