I haven't been to many cathedrals, but the story behind the Knock Cathedral in Ireland is particularly fascinating. Also St. Patrick's cathedral, very beautiful. I'm not an authority on them by any means.

Its worth checking out the cathedral in any city, there are always some amazing stories there and architectural mastery.
