Before pointing fingers saying everyone here especially site mods need to evaluate their morals take a look at yourself. I've never seen someone so focused on themselves. And i'm sure as typical of you you're going to post in your secret streams about how wrong I am and innocent you are.

Harassment about me is about me, actually.

But it’s not about you, as you’ve taken pains to explain (“I never use that stream,” etc etc.)

So why are you here?

See my other comments here and stop complaining until you're proactively doing something about the real harassment and cyberbullying going in. The depression stream you just commented on only after I pointed it out is a good place to start.

Strategies for combating cyberbullying. For anyone who thinks I've never done anything to fight it on this site. | image tagged in coping strategies for dealing with cyberbullying, cyberbullying, harassment, terms and conditions, expanding brain | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Yeah, I offer plenty of commentary against cyberbullying in general (not just connected to these specific examples).

Let me see you talk to the kids individually who are engaging in cyberbullying

I saw you try to do that on the meme you linked. All you did was provoke opposition and you got nowhere, basically.

Again calling out others on harassment is a civic duty when it's too protect a pop star (or you who evidently identify as her) but calling out ship shap on actual harassment is picking a fight? Anyways this is the last you'll hear from me.

Oh yeah & this deletion? Hahaha

I guess y’all are trying to catch him for any little violation now but deleting this obviously hypothetical 9/11-themed comment is just bonkers

I’ll link you something way worse I found in politics just today imgflip.com/i/4ener2?nerp=1600035026#com5902302

I flagged it awhile ago, still nothing has happened yet

Is that unwarranted harassment or part of a larger pattern of tit-for-tat insult trading between two memers? Your context-free screenshot doesn’t say.

Ship-Shap gets heated, yes, but he also stands up to hate and nonsense. He vigorously opposes anti-masking which is responsible for more deaths this year than terrorism, BLM, or anything else conservative dummies complain about in the politics stream. That’s more pro-social than a superficial commitment to civility.

This stream isn’t about Ship-Shap’s conduct which you’ve shown up to complain about but rather a specific about one hateful misogynistic stream that you keep muddying the waters on because you can’t defend it, and do your best to disclaim association with despite now being a Community Mod and therefore implicitly responsible for its content.

So yeah feel free to GTFO.

If you're truly concerned about harassment help me out and talk to the kids about their behavior, you're so obsessed about one freaking stream you haven't noticed the dozens and dozens of streams kids frequent everyday here harassing users. Wake up. Actually help. As far as I can see middle schoolers could care less about kylie minogue and their behavior hasn't improved or worsened, they haven't been traumatized for life if they did happen to see that stream which you direct them to constantly. Enough about you dude.
1 up, 4y
KylieSUCKS may or may not have traumatized anyone for life (I've seen comments there expressing very negative views on it: don't know if they remain as they are subject to deletion by stream and Community Mods, of course). But if a group of memers banded together to express that much hostility toward a young memer's meme avatar or other favorite thing they'd probably quit the site or worse.

Y'all just do it because I'm a big boy and I can take it.

And you get away with it because you're all too dull or cynical to recognize it as cyberbullying and one of you is a Community Mod.

You know it's wrong. Stop making excuses and start doing something.

Hey kylie what are your thoughts on this post? imgflip.com/i/4ekizh

Well, first off it reminds me of comments you made about attention-seeking kids (or however you phrased it exactly) on a meme for The_Think_Tank where I chastised you. You probably remember that, so I’d refer you to that commentary.

To sum it up again: I think anyone who expresses suicidal thoughts online (even without acting on them) most likely has some sort of underlying issue. Calling them a “fake suicide” is callous and counterproductive.

I understand it can be emotionally draining to encounter suicidal ideations again and again but lashing out is not the right answer. We never know someone else’s life situation behind the username and caution is always warranted when discussing issues of mental health.

I’ll go and comment there as well.

I never once said f**k you go die, seriously dude? I explained myself fully in that meme after you went on a rampage making all sorts of false assumptions about me. Go read the comments yourself.

The tank kid (he’s changed his username a few times) lied about being in the military — I think he’s an army kid in fact — and has attacked Ship-Shap repeatedly so I understand why he’s pissed at him.

Still not the right way to respond to a suicidal thought imo.

Yeah I know you don’t tell kids to go die but you are older and presumably wiser so I hold you to a higher standard.

I don’t know the other situation.

The kids role play ad nuseum. And if ShipShap does it it's fine but not for other kids?
1 up, 4y
Role-play? The tank kid lied about being in the military. That’s stolen valor.

Yeah, this is an anonymous forum so it’s probably not a real crime, but nor is there anything wrong with calling out stolen valor in any form or fashion.

Online is role-play for real life interactions and kids need to learn that piling themselves with unearned glory is not okay.

I haven’t seen Ship-Shap hold himself out to be something he’s not, but if he has, feel free to enlighten me.

My point in commenting here although I seem to not be making any progress is you turn a blind eye to the very real harassment and cyberbullying that happens from kids in a daily basis. The kids you hold in high esteem and think above reproach. Ship shap is one of the most toxic people here and i'm just seeing more of ther vitriol he tosses and the abuse of power he has wielded. He especially targets users he doesn't like unfeaturing perfectly fine memes because they're boring. He also will comment on memes and indicate his approval of them before unfeaturing.
Before you go and cry about KMS you're right as you stated in another meme this is your war and it's only about you. You don't really give a crap about actual harassment happening unless it's focused on you. And that's all.
1 up, 4y
Gee, a lot to unpack here.

—Holding kids on a pedestal: No, I don’t think kids are “above reproach.” They’re capable of messing up too. However, they aren’t fully-formed yet and lack life experience that older memers have. I have indeed gently reproached Ship-Shap from time to time from a standpoint of constructive criticism. I think that’s ultimately more effective. And as I stated earlier, I also have criticisms of things the tank kid/Ship-Shap’s enemy has done but I haven’t gone after him because flagrantly attacking a memer less than 1/2 my age whatever the circumstances is unseemly. I helped broker peace between them during the first ImgFlip election: Afterwards, both publicly announced an end to their war. Not sure if it held up in the long run but it still helped dial the heat back. Other adults including SydneyB treat Ship-Shap like a full-blown adult and argued and ridiculed him at length on the ImgFlip stream which Syd once famously said was “not the stream for bickering” (a rule he’s since broken over and over again). Those who throw stones shouldn’t live in a glass house that the rest of us who don’t have a misplaced sense of loyalty to some of these old-guard ImgFlippers can see right through.

—“Targeting of users”: Well gee, you picked a funny person to bring that complaint to. I’ve been the target of more hostility in more forms than anyone I can think of. Yes, including the unfeaturing of content for no apparent reason. Specifically: Stream Mods including OlympianProduct have blanket unfeatured tons of memes of mine for basically no reason on various streams because they don’t like me and I’ve had other comments deleted vindictively though they didn’t violate any TOS. As he and you have repeatedly said: when you’re a Mod, it’s your stream, your rules. It is poor Modship to approve and unfeature memes “for no reason.” However simply disliking a meme is fine, stream Mods have no obligation to host content they don’t like or watch their streams get polluted or dumbed-down. It stands to reason those who feel unfairly targeted by stream Mods will simply take their content elsewhere, and if that content is in fact good content, then the stream Mod who unfeatured it will see their stream lose followers, etc.

—KMS war: Related to yet different from damn_adults. Primarily about me ofc because this harassment campaign is about me. But it’s also open to anyone who cares about ending or reforming one of the most toxic streams on ImgFlip.

What would you do if you were community mod, which won't ever happen given your history by hypothetically since you know all the goings on on this site including the harassment we stop on a daily basis behind the scenes actual stuff like an older kid spamming youngest kids memes with pictures of shot up corpses, kids sending porn to eachother, kids telling eachother to kill themselves, joking about rape and incest, actually role playing killing and raping eachother. I've seen more in one week of being mod that KMS is not even a consideration.
1 up, 4y
Yeah, all that sounds like easy m-call TOS violations too. That doesn’t mean KMS isn’t.

But keep defending that filth every new lame excuse: it makes you look ever more ridiculous.

“My history” lol. Of what, exactly? Hurting conservative feelings? Giving free legal advice that could protect ImgFlip if it were followed?

Whatever happens here, it’s ImgFlip’s call: Not yours, not OlympianProduct’s, not mine.

So if kids are doing that, you have to shut down the rareinsults stream, unfeautre a post of mine in the Depression_Much stream for so called *Harassment* And im pretty sure you know what it was, and who tf was it harassing? You act like you own imgflip, in the past week youve been a mod youve changed a bunch of streams, making people leave them, even closed down streams, and continuing to give me BS comment timers like wtf is wrong with my comment of *How about we go back in time and kill osamas mom* Are you related to the osamas? Oh yeah, and dont forget the time you yelled at me for cussing at someone, when they started cussing, and you did nothing to them, the irony reigns supreme for you
