A week after Trump tossed paper towels to Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria a guy I know IRL who is half PR was yapping on his FB how UNAPPRECIATIVE PRs were begging for assistance because "Trump had donated to them $1 million of his own money."
Even after someone pointed out that was to Texas years prior, not PR (and it was $2 million), the guy kept on.

He unfriended a Rican for pointing out his bs, and I got blocked for liking that dude's comment. (My pal unfriended me for not wanting to vote for his orange god in 2016. btw, did I mention we and his siblings used to go to restaurants together?).

Never underestimate the human capacity for stupidity. Trump won in 2016, and he will do it again soundly in 2020 because humans prefer their favorite fairy tales over reality and never learn from their mistakes - just ask the droves of Millees that didn't turn out for Bernie yet again minus DNC rigging this year.
