In 2016, this was the argument I made for Hillary:
“You’re on a road. The road is bumpy. You come to a fork. To the left, the road stays bumpy but it’s level and consistent. If you go to the left, it’s more of the same and you have a good chance of finding a better road when you reach the next fork.
To the right, the road looks like a roller coaster with dizzying highs and unfathomable lows. Besides that, there’s brimstone flying everywhere. You might not survive to the next fork if you go to the right.
Do you really go to the right just because you went to the left at the last two forks?”
I guess we did and here we are.
