"new leadership style". Please. Women are just as capable of being a**holes as men. You really think s*** would change if all of a sudden *poof* all world leaders were women? No, it wouldn't because it doesn't matter if you're male, female, non-binary, transgender, etc., we're all human and we're all quite equally capable of being a**holes.

I'm not trying to bash on women world leaders. I hold no hatred or prejudice against women. But this "women are superior to men" attitude, or rather the perception of it, is why many people are turned-off by feminism. I know real feminists are truly for gender-equality, but the extreme ones who promote gender superiority(they claim s*** like that women can't rape men, that men are biologically inferior, yes these people really exist) often overshadow the more rational voices of the movement.

Sorry if I came across as hostile, I'm not in a great mood.

It’s okay.

Women have been considered inferior to men for a long time (especially in professional contexts), so I don’t mind a little commentary cutting the other way.

New Zealand is simply a more pro-social country so that probably helps.

So that makes it okay, does it? Just because a segment of a given group mistreats another group, that gives the mistreated group the right to mistreat all of the group who mistreated them, regardless of their participation? Even those among the former group who those who see it as wrong and have no desire to participate(people like me)?

Don't for a damn minute think I'm trying to play the victim card here. I'm not denying sexism nor its long history. But prejudice is wrong no matter who its aimed at, even if the target has had an advantage historically or continues to do so in modern times.

I get what you’re saying, and agree prejudice against men or whites or any historically dominant group is wrong.

But I don’t think saying positive things about women constitutes oppressing men.

"But I don’t think saying positive things about women constitutes oppressing men."

Never said it does.
