I've been pondering for three days now and keeping this in the approval queue... I think this information might be useful to other users too. I mean, I try to keep it fairly transparent what guidelines I follow with this stream and if I have to disapprove something because of the sitewide rules I want people to know what the rules are. Do you think it would be ok if I approved this anyway? Or made a more compact version maybe?

Definitely DON'T approve it. That would start all kinds of crap. All it would take would be ONE person AT SOME POINT complaining to SOMEONE--e.g. a local police department, some self-created "morality" group, or whoever. Plus, if it's PUBLICLY posted the folks who run Imgflip might start jumping on ALL things showing "almost bare" butts, etc., such as thong bikinis, etc.

If there are other streams (DEFINITELY booty ...), let me know and I'll submit it to their stream too so the mods know. I've noticed Booty HAS been showing full-naked butts recently (... ahem ... of course, I only CHECK there for informational purposes ...)

Ok, you might be right there... But it would be ok to make a meme along the lines of "this is why the sitewide mods are so strict about full nudity" would be ok? I would post it as a comment here first and ask you if it's ok or too specific. I'll give you full veto rights as you are the one who gave me the info in the first place.

As for the other streams there are edge cases every once in a while but usually as long as there are no holes or nipples visible they can stay. Sometimes even body paint art isn't deleted if there's paint over the nipples... 🤷 I don't know if the powers that be just didn't check it out or if they actually thought it was ok. Maybe it might be useful to tell the other mods as well but I can't guarantee they will handle it like I do... I don't know them well enough.

I posted one quite awhile back in Booty showing the "dumb blonde", a dog wearing booties, and frustrated Borimer and asking, "Why do ALL posts in Booty have to be marked NSFW?" with details in the comments. E.g., at work, "Ooh, look! How cute! I wonder what else is in that Booty stream!" Or "I wonder what else this person has posted!"

I'll take a look at that and see about doing one with a bit more detail. But we definitely don't want to mention anything specific about "It's a federal statute." I can submit it with a detailed comment, have it rejected, and then resubmit it without the comment, or the comment can be deleted.

Regarding body paint, that almost always would be considered "artwork", as opposed to "Here's a hottie standing at a stove and not wearing panties."

One of my sister's high school classmates does body painting and she has posted photos of a lot of her work on Facebook, including some that I'm pretty sure included PAINTED unclothed breasts and FB didn't censor them. She hasn't posted any with painted unclothed butts.

"Unclothed" here is MY term--I've never seen a discussion about whether ARTISTIC PAINTED-COVERED is still considered "nudity", and I've never seen the term "unclothed" used.

"Artwork" would also apply to Classical paintings showing nude women, male or female genitals, etc. (And, of course, those were made before 1995.)

Thank you for this information. I had a vague idea that you have to exclude actual sexual content to avoid some sort of rule but I didn't know the specifics. So, I guess even the site wide mods are still trying to figure out the exact line as well, but we're getting ever closer to figuring it out. 😊
