That's overstated. A few buildings have been burned, which is bad, but far from the entire left of entire cities.

Quite a few burned, tons looted, even more shut down, people fleeing in droves, police fleeing in droves, overrun with homeless...

While I don't deny that some of that's happened, I've seen evidence of much less than you claim. My city is pretty "left" and the only problem you've mentioned that we have here is that too many of our citizens are afflicted with homelessness.
