You're not drinking the tears of Southerners who have lost loved ones due to Union Greed.
You're also drinking the tears of Black people who have been lied to as well as extorted.
The Union never intended for black people to leave the plantation. "Fugitive Slave Laws" were re-named "Sharecropper's Debt Laws."
The Union put the brass ring just out of their reach AND got rich off it at the same time.
The South provided pathways to freedom. The North did not.
The South put an end to The Atlantic Slave Trade in 1808, saying "You have enslaved enough Africans. We don't need any more."
Then the North separated families by buying individuals in one state, and selling them to another, earning profits in the Domestic Slave Trade. They ran the logistics, and the South was their playing field.
(They also kidnapped free blacks in the North and sold them in the South, as featured in the movie "12 Years A Slave")
The South put a stop to that, AND declared no other cultures, such as the Native Americans would become enslaved.
That is clearly stated in their Declarations Of Secession.
That's when the North created the Federal Income Tax, which targeted Southern Blacks, while simultaneously exempting Northern factory workers.
The Mechanical Cotton Harvester, patented in 1850 could do the work of 100 men, and would have set free millions of blacks, allowing them to migrate North.
Slavery would have died off by itself, but the North re-named it "sharecropping" in order to maintain it and profit from it.
They were also incredibly racist, and did NOT want black people migrating North.
They didn't want black people working in their factories, because that would mean they would have to pay black people enough to tax them.
They preferred to have 1/3 of the Southern plantations earnings allocated as "wages" so they could put a tax on it.
