Hey, my advice is actually to start with tracing. Just trace pieces in similar styles until you get the hang of how the proportions are supposed to look, then start drawing your own lines with a reference, then I guess kinda wean yourself off of using references until you can draw freehand. That’s how I learned, and while it was a years-long journey, I feel good about my skill. Stay determined :)
