I want people to express themselves, if not always 100% respectfully, in ways that are at least a little bit tethered to reality and avoid resorting to the most flagrant bigotry and crimes against reason.

If I’m unable to achieve that, I’ll accept the public shaming of anyone who is unable to do so along with side-doses of shade thrown in the direction of those who justify or excuse such behavior.
