I agree, but I have a feeling that these crowdfunding sites would not allow it. They've already silenced what they deem to be "offensive" or "racist" messages. I bet they would shut you down if you started one for the kid. He does deserve a good defense team and he deserves to be exonerated and released from custody ASAP. I think what he did was unwise, but I don't condemn people who are trying to quell the rioting/looting/violence that these angry mobs of thugs and lowlifes are perpetuating. It is beyond belief that these looters and rioters are being allowed to do this to innocent people/entities. They are only creating more hate. The people that are on the fence, the ones they truly need to convince, are being made into people who hate these protests and quite frankly, the protesters themselves. Until the protesters stop rioting and looting after their peaceful rallies, no one is going to make an honest effort to satisfy the demands of BLM and the like. Most of their demands are unreasonable. Many of them are flat-out racist. The BLM list of demands reads like a terrorist's ransom. Forcing people to buy from black-owned businesses, even if they don't deserve it. They essentially want you to buy from someone based solely on that person's skin color. They call this equality! It is inequality at its finest. It is vengeance.
I hate BLM, but I have never had a problem with black people, in general. The gang members are scum. The drug dealers are scum. So are all the violent offenders. This is not racism. It is anti-criminality. It covers the entire spectrum of human beings. If you are out to rob, kill, rape, you are scum. Also, statistics don't lie, but BLM and the like will tell you they are racist lies. That's simply because they won't take responsibility for their actions. They continually choose to blame it on people who died 200-300 years ago. It is a losing argument from the get-go.
