Wife & I just finished running through Pokemon Sword/Shield.

Best installment in years, maybe ever. Great graphics. Gameplay-wise, really innovative in a lot of ways. We'll run through it again soon.

We're both Pokemon Go players and we picked up Let's Go too, that was fun.

Can't knock Gen 1 though: it's where it all began :)

Yeah, bugs the hell out of me when oldies think that what they had growing up was the pinnacle of culture and everything that came after is invalid, a pale imitation, a fraud, etc.

Zelda: BOTW is another example. Holy shit what a good game. Best single-player adventure game ever in my book.
