I know you already know this but I have family and friends out in California near the fires and they're probably gonna lose everything
I have family in Texas near where the storms are gonna collide
The weather near me is f**king weird, we had a 4 hour thunderstorm last night that knocked out our power and most of the neighborhood is out rn
I'm depressed and anxious
I can't sleep
What little sleep I do get is full of nightmares
And yeah

ok first I don't know if you do religion but if you do pray! Watch an online sermon . Read the Bible. That should answer the first the first thing. About sleep. Have you ever tried melatonin? It is a good thing that helps you go to sleep. Google it. Next read a book. Something you know is not scary. And for me sometimes if I think of a song and focus on the lyrics of the song thinking of every word it helps me sleep. It may sound silly but it works for me.
