"General Washington" refers to George Washington, right? The first president of the U.S.? (I really don't know if there were any other generals with the same name later, so I had to check).
I never knew airplanes where that old already... I learn something new every day here.

A mortal only has as much power as other mortals give them....
And this video illustrates the people following Trump.

Now this could be a misreading, but when we count everything Trump said alltogether....

I've been thinking of a similar stunt. The point is some of the quotes ain't even so bad... Please note, just because Hitler said it doesn't mean it's bad by default. Even Hitler can sometimes say good things.
What I do like to see is a text from Hitler with the word "Jew" replaced by "Muslim" or "Mexican", and that as only change, and see how they respond then.

"I do not see why man should not be as cruel as nature" is a harsh quote, yet I can not really deem it nationalist... It's not that I agree with it, although we can say that man *is* cruel.

"Great liars are also great magicians"... Well, I guess that is a big of the secret behind magic shows, eh? Fooling people. Thinking they saw you disappear in nothingness or that they saw you flying. While there's always a secret behind it which the audience may not know. I guess he had a point there. I never knew Hitler said it, but it only confirms that even Hitler can have a point. Hitler was (in his own belief) a bit of a philosopher (although his "philosophy" is questionable at best)

"Who says I am not under the special protection of God?" is maybe the vaguest, as there are multiple ways to interpret that. Of course, many crazy leaders did see them as special to God in some way, so any dictator could have said it, but also any non-leader. So it could be a display of arrogance. But you can also give it a different meaning. Like "can you as a mortal decide whether or not God chose to protect me in a special way or not?" -- Since it's a quote by Hitler I guess it's safe to assume the former...

The stunt to use quotes by Hitler and pretend them to be Trump's (or other populists in other countries, as Trump may be the most famous one worldwide, but he's not the only one), but the quotes are a bit vague. They actually say little about the man who uttered those words.

I am not a Hitler supporter (I despise him), but these are not quotes that you can't agree with without supporting Hitler's way of politics. (Now Hitler also had a way with being vague, although he could sometimes be very to the point too).

yea, again not the video I was really trying to show, wanted to find the whole thing again but all of a sudden it seems hard to find, there were many more questions and people than that in the original, the end result being the same.

The beauty of it is that he’s basically Ron Burgundy. He’s reading a teleprompter and whether someone messed with him or it’s the autocorrect in his head glitched, he just barrels ahead.
