https://youtu.be/33QdTOyXz3w -simply Trump speaking, no commentary. He says it in the first thirty seconds of the video. He's not being sarcastic.

Normally I'd say the media twists his words or cuts him off to remove context, but he at least asked this profoundly stupid question on this occasion. So even though you've made it sound worse than it was, you're basically right.

Wrong, he did not. Prove it, oh yeah you can’t cause it didn’t happen. F**kin Lemming.

You’re correct. He suggested injecting disinfectant...but bleach is a disinfectant, so they’re mostly right.

Ya ignore the context of what he was talking about. How come you guys stopped mocking him for using IV light? He said that at the same press conference and you all laughed and mocked that too. Oh yeah because it has proven effective and they are using it to sanitize NY Subway cars.

The disinfectant thing gained traction because morons started actually doing it. There aren’t millions of people running around with ultraviolet lights powerful enough to be capable of sanitizing. But that was equally as stupid.

And they’re not shining the light under people’s skin, you yinyang. Ultraviolet light can sanitize inorganic surfaces, not subcutaneously...that would be called radiation therapy and is used in cancer treatment.

The point is he was ruminating on potential ways of combatting the virus and you dipshits pretend like he said to drink bleach. Suggesting the possibility of some type of treatment is a stretch from saying drink bleach and if you are that stupid to take it literally well, natural selection is at work.

So he he didn’t say what he said, and if he did he didn’t mean it, and if he meant it, others have said worse.

Keep trying to rationalize the irrational.

You’re obvious.

He didn’t say what you say he said, period. You are a liar and dishonest.

Here is the entire quote for context:

“A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposedly we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. (To Bryan) And I think you said you’re going to test that, too. Sounds interesting, right?"

"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful."

He said EXACTLY what everyone said he said. He later backtracked on it saying he was asking a “sarcastic” question...but what kind of asshole asks a “sarcastic” question to a medical expert in the middle of a pandemic?

You’re the liar.

Video link posted above confirms it. Please don't try to defend him when he actually does do something unquestionably stupid.

Where does it say for people to inject bleach. Please point that out. I’m betting you can’t because nowhere does it say that. Speaking of possible fields of research is not suggesting you drink bleach, however if ok if you want to try.

So no where, no where, in that statement can anyone who understands the English language say he said people should inject bleach you dumb bitch. Funny how you get he told people to inject bleach out of that. Throughout the statement he says, “look into that“ and “is there a way” as he is obviously ruminating on potential tease arch. Probably he had just spoken to medical professionals on possible treatments that they were investigating. Regardless you proved that you are the liar, thanks!

Gaslight all you want, he said precisely what everyone has mocked him for saying. Any reasonable person can see that.

I get why you’re having a problem seeing that.

Is English your first language? Cause that’s not what it says.

So apparently people are under the impression, somehow, that drinking bleach will cure COVID. I wonder where they got that idea.

Weird, huh?

Apparently their reading comprehension and intelligence level is as low as yours. So what? Stupid people do stupid things every day.

“Apparently their reading comprehension and intelligence level is as low as yours.”

I’m smart enough to not drink disinfectant of any kind. I won’t even consider it. So I guess that puts me a step above your typical red-hat cultist.

Trump, however, publicly and ‘sarcastically’ ruminated on the subject, much like hydrochloroquine...also proven to not only not work, but cause fatal arrhythmias in some patients.

“So what? Stupid people do stupid things every day.“

Correct. See above.

I think that study was retracted for being false. But hey you cure yourself how you want to. I will get with my doctor and ask him for options and make an informed choice. You go ahead and deny something that might help you because of your politics.

It wasn’t “that study,” it was based on a series of studies by scientists from around the world that were then peer-reviewed by other scientists and it was determined that hydrochloroquine not only doesn’t work, but that it’s dangerous.

Here’s the thing, zippy: I don’t care who recommends what as long as the cure works. Donald Trump and the cultist Republicans are the ones pushing snake oil and Pine Sol. The rest of us are following protocols and pinning our hopes on science, not politics.

https://www.statnews.com/2020/06/04/lancet-retracts-major-covid-19-paper-that-raised-safety-concerns-about-malaria-drugs/

So you are obviously referring to a study that the major medical journal had to publicly retract as illegitimate. The review on Covid 19 studies that found anti malarial drugs dangerous could not stand up to audit and was found to be extremely flawed. Apparently many frontline doctors take it as a prophylactic and later studies have shown benefit when given early in the illness. You are parroting what you heard not science. Science is still out on how effective it is, it may not be a cure but it is potentially another tool to use. So stop propagating lies that a drug that millions of people take and have taken is dangerous. It is and has been proven safe by all the double blind studies you can think of that’s why it was approved as a treatment for malaria Skippy.

Science (article) says: “Meanwhile, on Wednesday, researchers reported the results of the first gold-standard clinical trial of hydroxycholoroquine in Covid-19, concluding that it did not prevent infections any better than placebo. Other clinical trials, including some looking at the drugs as treatments, are ongoing.”

You say: “Science is still out on how effective it is, it may not be a cure but it is potentially another tool to use.”

— ooooooookay?

Then say: “It is and has been proven safe by all the double blind studies you can think of that’s why it was approved as a treatment for malaria Skippy.”

— which has nothing to do with COVID, sparkles. Malaria (which has a vaccine) is caused by a parasite, not a virus.
0 ups, 5y
Doesn’t matter Sally, it is safe and has been proven safe for decades. It is not approved for general use for Covid but that doesn’t mean it’s any more likely to cause adverse reactions. If you take aspirin for headache the safety doesn’t change if you take it for inflammation. You were wrong so many times I can’t count them but you come on here like you are the all knowing. You don’t know shit Betty. You are probably a really nice lady but you still don’t know what you vomit out your pie hole

...and just to summarize since you’ve taken this so far off the rails: Trump 100% “sarcastically” pondered to a medical professional the efficacy of injecting disinfectants into the lungs and shining ultraviolet light under the skin as possible treatments to explore.
0 ups, 5y
That was never the point and that is exactly what I said he did. You said he told people to inject bleach. You were wrong so you took it in another direction and were wrong again and that makes you mad doesn’t it Timmy.

.......aaaaaaand we come full circle.

“That was never the point“

That was exactly the point.

“You said he told people to inject bleach.”

I did not. However, bleach is a disinfectant so anyone who says bleach instead of disinfectant isn’t totally wrong, but not entirely correct. You, however, are off your nut.

But he didn’t clearly say what he clearly said and if he said what he said, he didn’t mean what he said, right, Twinkie?

You’re a joke, bud. Have some more Kool Aid.

Dipshit it clearly say “is there a way” how does that equate to “do it”. It doesn’t and you are wrong once again. Kool aid is what you need to burst through the wall and wake you up from your woke brainwashing. Unfortunately stupid can’t really be fixed so you will just have to live with it.

Dude, you posted the actual quote. It said “is there a way“ there’s no more obsfucation necessary. You are wrong, he did not tell people to inject bleach or disinfectant that is a lie and you are a liar to say so, Susie. I know the sting hurts but man up and take it like the lying sniveler you are.

Donald Trump said that’s exactly what he said and that he was being sarcastic.

You’re the only idiot who’s saying Trump didn’t say what Trump himself says he said. But if this is the hill you choose to die on, by all means.
0 ups, 5y
Your the one that died on the hill of “he told people to inject bleach” or disinfectant. Which is conclusively proven to be a liar and you are another fact twisting liar. I understand how hard it is to find out you are an idiot and have been spouting a hysterical lie because that’s what you heard. Being wrong stings but you should get used to it, because you are wrong a lot.
