I'm told that "y'all" is most of all the Texan accent. I do not know if it's common in the rest of the US.

Well, the London accent is by a lot of non UK-people taken as the accent for the entire UK (except for Scotland, maybe).... I guess that's always the easy way to go, eh?

Yeah something like that... I see that in the Dutch language too... Some words and phrases pretty much belonging to one region spreading over all of the Dutch speaking community... I guess it works that way with all languages, and especially in modern days with radio, TV and internet, things go fast.
