Only the smartest animals actually have a language, like humans. Dolphins also have something similar to a language. Most animals only use body language and tone to convey feelings. For example, dogs don't understand that "sit" is a word that means the action of sitting, they just know that when their human makes a certain noise, they do a certain action. (Btw pigs are smarter than dogs, just a random fact.)
