I suspect they’re mostly or all OP decisions, but then again everyone has mod powers on that stream so who knows. But he does clearly consider himself the head honcho around there.

Changing stream terms (albeit this time for the better — at least on paper) without seeking any sort of democratic consensus was reminiscent of how he forcibly reorganized the Peace_On_ImgFlip stream

Yeah, looking across ImgFlip including Peace_On_ImgFlip, OP has deleted and unfeatured countless comments/memes of mine and I haven’t done it a single time to him for the reasons I explained on that meme.

Worries of retaliation, etc.

Can you imagine how much worse it would be for me including possible banning of my account (indeed I heard at one point they were trying to do that anyway, but must have decided against it) if I tried to respond in kind to their hateful nonsense? Not that I have any intention to, because gross.

Final thing: I’ve submitted feedback forms about OP’s modding of my content but got no reply so I stopped trying.

Yeah I was really trying to build a relationship with OP the same way I have successfully with other conservatives on ImgFlip despite our political disagreements.

But when he took a hard turn toward KylieSUCKS that burned a lot of bridges.

Imma still try to contribute to EAM where I can tho. The theme weekends are fun.

Ok, just checked the EAM logs. The most recent comment deletions are from Kewlew deleting our comments on the comment screenshot, which goes against the EAM TOS. Don't see him getting in trouble 🤔 I guess being on speaking terms of the TOS writer helps.

No explanation whatsoever given either: which EAM has been very harsh at enforcing toward certain decisions against the in-crowd (and we know who they are).

Rules for thee but not for me.

Bottom-line is that streams that are hypocritically modded or which regularly feature content people don’t want to see (*cough cough Jeff*) are going to languish, lose followers, or be reduced to a tiny hateful core.

The EAM stream revisions to get rid of Jeff selfies were I think an implicit recognition of that, and the stream is still overall better than before, but old habits die hard.

I could just decide to boycott EAM (it’s not a core part of my ImgFlip experience: I only followed it myself a couple weeks ago), but submitting shit to EAM only to have it unfeatured and thereby collect ammunition against them and their “free speech!!!” absolutism is fun too.

I sometimes consider removing myself as mod and leaving EAM, But it's a good place to self plug. Dunno, it has some good mods.

I had my own comments deleted by someone else on my own image. If I were to try to call kewl out on this nothing would happen.
