Rubbish, statues make the history far more accessible and serve to remind of good or bad. Or for an individual to at least ask questions about who the [erson depicted represented and then they may need a museum and a history book to learn more.

Easily answered that question. Because only Democrats want to hide and rewrite History which is what we all learn from. If we do what Democrats wanted generations to come will repeat the same mistakes Democrats always make :)

What's to downplay for goodness sake? You're trying to suggest one very proud US State who fought & died fighting for Americans against Santa Ana at The Alamo while The Whole of the Country is being raped by Democrats using thugs like Schumer, Chuck and The Squad who will screw you all. Add to that Democrats are trying hard to take Texas and have tried to influence Texans by pushing for a rewrite of of History.
