Because of the tropical storm, I was running late for work.
So much flooding and trees down, I gave up and came home after an hour of trying.

The mailman was at someone’s house when...( New York City, I think)
I know they have a proud motto but sending people out when the weather gets that bad is kinda risky. Glad you made it back safe.

Wow, that tree destroyed that truck!
I drive 23 miles to work, from Delaware into Pennsylvania.
I came upon one disaster after another.
I’m glad I got back ok too.
