and yet, you miss the point of the meme - standard cognitive dissonance. The politicians depicted make less than 200k a year for their service. They're "career" politicians. I have friends that make around the 200k a year salary and none of them are living in mansions and sitting on net worths of 120 million (like pelosi) and you have to wonder, did they all just get lucky with investments? It's just a coincidence that a majority of sitting senators and congressmen are multi-millionaires on the back end of their public office? Even old Bernie, with his mansions (3 I believe) has amassed a few million. For a guy who promotes socialism and slams the rich.

Hey, we know politics is as corrupt as all out - especially with a two party system. That said, Republicans aren't at the forefront every day, espousing the evils of a corrupt president. It's the glass houses argument. Trump actually lost some of his wealth and continues to donate his paychecks to charity.

Any guesses what the distinguished Dr. Fauci is worth today? He gets royalties in his role and personally owns 4 known patents while serving at his job paying 350k a year. But I'm sure he's objective and clear of any bias. :)
