actually I think that you could, the Joke is that the Soviets had the highest casualty count out of anyone in world war two, with a count of approximately 10,700,000 military deaths over 27 million if we count civilian deaths that's more than any other country in World War 2, this casualty count was almost double the amount of the country with the second highest amount of casualties which would be Germany

And they won. Sheer numbers is a war strategy.
