Returning to the land of their ancestors should be condition of payment. Otherwise they’re getting payment on top of the benefits of being born in America.
The point is, descendants of slaves aren’t the ones who suffered from slavery. And if you want to argue that they incurred hardship because of how their ancestors were treated then you better be prepared to pay reparations to any and all groups who’s ancestors we’re mistreated, such as Japanese, Italian, Irish and other immigrants as well as Mormons, and other groups who were denied their civil rights.
