I mean, Smash Ultimate did add many favorable mechanics, a bunch of fun characters, more stages and music, an Adventure mode, better online, better balance, removed Bayo 0 to deaths, added small amazing things like Squad Strike, a better menu, an actually good stage builder, home run contest, and shared content.
