Return to dreamland is epic. It has super abilities that look badass and it has my favorite final boss in the series who is also my favorite kirby character.

Same! I actually only even got into Kirby because I was playing as Meta Knight (I mean, a swordsman with wings is ideal for my favored style) and wanted to draw a human version of him, so I turned to the internet and was like, wow there’s some really good art here

Man, I know I got into mainline kirby late, but I didn't think I'd hear anyone say their first mainline kirby game was the newest one (btw star allies is epic cause of dream friends and you play as magolor my favorite kirby character).

It was a pretty good damm game, whenever I spotted Robobot armor I would completely quit what I was doing & rush over to it.

Esactly, the robobot armor was epic. And in the final boss with star dream where you drill through nova, this is why I want nintendo to bring back the kirby anime, so I can see stuff like this in it.

that ending with the robobot armor crying just gave me a sad feeling inside

Oh, and haltmann's backstory is just sad and in star dream soul OS, he screams any time you hit him. That's f**king disturbing.

I guess that counts. Sakurai did make both kirby and smash bros, and some kirby games play like smash bros games (even going as far to make an ability based on kirby's moveset in smash bros). So yeah, I guess smash bros is kind of a kirby game.

Yeah I guess but I'm not going to boast about knowing Kirby or anything like that until I actually play the main games

Triple deluxe is good though, it have epic dark meta knight boss from amazing mirror, but super star (specifically super star ultra) has galacta knight which is more epic.
