They didn't really fight her too much and they released her pretty much right after they booked her. She says she was treated like royalty while in police custody.

The context of the meme isn't saying she didn't commit a crime, but drawing attention to the inaction of police preventing all the vandalism currently going on and arresting a black person who is trying to undo it.

Vandals are getting arrested all over the country for their attacks on statues and monuments. You're all so hyper-focused on the fact that it's a black woman vandalizing the BLM mural, it's almost as if she was sent in there specifically to martyr herself so you all could point out how it's a black woman getting arrested for vandalizing a BLM mural.

"After months of ignoring" vandals, police are enforcing laws on people who are vandalizing, ironically a black woman undoing the work of mostly woke white liberals.

They're getting arrested all over. Seriously, it's even being reported on Faux news.
