My faith is not the cause of your persecution, just like you aren't the cause of Christian's persecution around the world. Can you stop attacking us, because we don't do it to you. Yes... But that doesn't erase the years of systematic oppression. Your hatred of the LGBT community stems from a bible verse some asshole edited to make homophobic. My hatred of Christians stems from people like you talking that bible verse seriously, thus your religion got bigger and bigger, thus it became custom to hate the "lifestyle" and as a result, LGBT people faced systematic oppression for who knows how long. It got to a point where they started pride month to help LGBT people become more accepted in society.
