Not really -- what it depicts is exactly what has happened. Memes that 2 years ago would have gotten hundreds of views and several dozen upvotes now get MAYBE 30-40 views and MAYBE 2 upvotes.

Most of us who have been around awhile have flat-out abandoned the Fun stream. But every once in awhile we think, "Okay, THIS one is REALLY good. At least it'll get maybe 150-250 views and 20 upvotes." And what happens is exactly what he shows--very few views and almost no upvotes.
