The Bible doesn't preach abhorrence of sinners, otherwise none of us christians would b able to find God b/c He'd hate us 4 sinning. Notice that in Romans it doesn't say "Hate homosexuals." also Jesus stated "I didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners." He does not preach hating ppl who do wrong things.

There is nothing wrong with being homosexual. Saying it is a sin is idiotic. It’s like saying that having blue eyes is a sin, you cannot control it.

having blue eyes is just how God created ppl. He didn't create ppl 2 b gay; He literally told us not to do that. Being gay is falling 4 a temptation that can b overcome... (and i've seen ppl overcome it). Being blue-eyed cannot b "overcome," & it's not a sin anyway... blue eyes r kinda cool...

Can you control who your crushes are? No. Neither can anybody else. The people who “overcome” homosexuality didn’t actually overcome anything. They are so covered in shame by people like you they pretend to have overcome it. People can’t control who they like any more than they can control their eye color.

Can you imagine telling this to someone that you loved? It's like suggesting that they're there to please you for the time that they do, & the moment they don't, you're done with them. That's hurtful & extremely selfish. It's not even love. What that is is using people to be happy... you should see how many would appreciate that if you told them that... that's how many people in my family have treated relationships... & I grew up as the loneliest kid in America that's not in a trafficking ring because no one wants to talk w/ each other b/c no one can stand each other... if someone is a threat to your life, a divorce is okay... but if your spouse is a jerk, kill 'em w/ kindness... it has worked before. I know people who have turned jerk husbands around doing that, I've heard of ppl doing that, & St Augustine's mother did that to him & her husband when they both were jerks & she won them both over & earned their respect. As a matter of fact, her husband was abusive but never even touched her. & that is what Christianity encourages. You'd be surprised to see how many people have turned their life around with this mentality...

Actually it occurred to me last night that this was irrelevant. By what you said, you can't control whether or not you like someone, so therefore your spouse doesn't have to be a jerk for that to happen. They just could be getting older & not be as good-looking anymore, & since you can't control the fact that you're not liking them anymore, now you just ditch them. That's how you be the jerk people want to divorce.

I heard this story once where this woman was so angry at her husband, she went to a divorce lawyer, saying, "I want a divorce, and I want to hurt my husband." That's how mad she was at him. So the divorce lawyer suggested for her to show him 90 days of pure love & then suddenly leave him, revealing she couldn't stand him all this time. So she did that. 90 days later, the lawyer received no call. 180 days passed. Still no call. Finally after 9 months, the lawyer called her & asked, "Didn't you want a divorce? Did you forget about it?" But the woman replied, "Oh no. I don't want a divorce anymore. My husband is a wonderful man."
Showing people love can turn their lives & yours around... ditching everyone who gets on your nerves is just a cop-out. When you're a kid, you're stuck with your family members, whether you want to be or not. And the best you can do is show them love. And it's the same with marriage & relationships.
