If a "gay guy" comes out as a trans woman, as she will still like men, she would be hetero

Well 1. It's not "becoming a girl" it is coming out as trans and it is 100% valid and she is a real girl

2. If she still likes just guys, she would be straight, but not cis so still part of the community

It's not unheard of that some trans women still identify as gay when they're attracted to guys even after coming out as trans. But it all depends on how you feel. There isn't really a right or wrong way here.
