You know, pretty much every Dragon Ball character in the original series beat Goku... starting with none other than the laughingstock of the franchise, Yamcha. Actually, come to think of it, arguably Bulma, since she hit him with a car and shot him in the head. Hell, even most of the villains in Z handed him his ass on a silver platter.
