So you endorse a memer who constantly gets into flame wars and tells other kids to kill themselves and also abuses MOD powers by harassing certain users he doesn't like?

Yeah, he can be rambunctious at times and I’ve told him to cool it. That’s why I’ve given an endorsement with qualifications. But he also takes a stand where it counts and uses his Mod powers judiciously to combat harassment of others.

Harassment/cyberbullying is typically about more than single incidents of anger or frustration directed at another user — it’s about a pattern that spans multiple days and memes and meme comments.

I gave you my opinion of that stream several times. If imgflip is required to police or delete that stream because of one person's opinion that it is harassment then they should also have to delete all the politics, dark humor, racist jokes, numerous anti streams (even the Anti Jeffrey stream that actually was harassment and which you participated in). Heck even your sex stream should be deleted because it offends some people.

One person not liking something is not what harassment is.

This is what harassment is. My definition anyways. Agree or disagree! It’s a complex topic.

And yes, the Anti-Jeffrey stream was technically harassment: But a special case because there were significant questions raised about whether he was a pedophile, and many felt that he had been harassing them.

That’s why I participated in that stream, the only “hate” stream I’ve ever partaken in. And I don’t regret it. I think we raised awareness, got somewhere, and finally even got through to Jeff to change his ways.

Hold habits die hard, but social pressure can work.

But on an important condition

I would like to see a Ship-Shap & S-116_Dutch unity ticket with Dutch in the VP slot.

They have both campaigned hard and campaigned well in this stream.

Ship-Shap has slung a lot of mud, so picking him is bound to be controversial. But it has all been accurate and factual digs at other memers as far as I can tell, which is fair game all day. Ship-Shap is the kind of guy who takes a stand. I like that quality. He stood up against harassment of me taking place in the Everyone’s_A_Mod stream and was unmodded in retaliation. He not only talks the talk but walks the walk. When the rubber meets the road, if you treat Ship-Shap with respect he will stand up for you whatever the cost.

Both of you are vigorous new memers with a lot of great and already-proven potential. But it saddens me every time to see you both going so hard after each other since you have so much energy that could be turned toward the positive. If you could unite to make ImgFlip a better place then this would bring a lot of peace to ImgFlip.

A Democrat and a Republican together. It’s what the Founders would have wanted.

If you can, please make the necessary apologies and come together to be leaders and support the website you love.

If they are unable to reconcile, or drop out of the race, then I endorse The_Cursed_Trainwatcher for ImgFlip’s President for everything he has done to build ImgFlip in a peaceful direction.
