Why Jesus Must Have Risen From The Dead

Why Jesus Must Have Risen From The Dead | WHY JESUS MUST HAVE RISEN FROM THE DEAD. 1: THE DISCIPLES ALL BELIEVED LYING WAS A SIN, SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE LIED ABOUT ANY OF THE DETAILS.
2: THE DISCIPLES (OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER) COULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN PAST BOTH A ROMAN GUARD AND A TWO-TON ROCK.
3: THEY WERE ALL WILLING TO DIE FOR THEIR FAITH.
4: THEY COULDN'T HAVE HALLUCINATED, AS A HALLUCINATION WOULD HAVE JUST CONVINCED THEM THAT JESUS WAS STILL DEAD.
5: THEY WERE NOT EXPECTING TO SEE JESUS, BUT THEY SAW HIM, MEANING THEY COULD NOT HAVE HALLUCINATED. USE THE COMMENTS TO ADD MORE PIECES OF EVIDENCE. | image tagged in empty tomb, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

"There's no contemporary evidence outside the Bible that Jesus rose from the dead" There's a 97% chance that Lee Strobel would not agree with that.

Lee Strobel is an investigative journalist. The movie includes him bling through substantial amounts ov evidence. The chance that he's wring on this is less than eight percent.

"There's no historical or archaeological evidence that he rose from the dead" Tell that to Lee Strobel.

Lee Strobel was an Atheist and a journalist that wanted to prove that the events in the Bible didn't exist, specifically the life of Christ. Instead, he proved to himself that the events were true.

"That doesn't mean what the Bible claims they said is correct" They had a significant hand in writing it.

"Even that isn't verified by historians." Except it is. https://www.quora.com/Who-wrote-the-books-of-Matthew-Mark-Luke-and-John/answer/Kyle-Davison-Bair
This also affirmed that three of them came much too early to be mythological. A minimum of two generations would be required for that. (Mythological accounts about have an easier time arising when there are no eyewitnesses alive to the actions of that person.) Even the last one to be written (just on the edge of the "border" between the second and third generation) was written by an eyewitness (who was one of the original 12 disciples). Of the two that weren't written by one of the disciples (both of those two come too early to contain mythological content), one was written by a disciple of one of the original 12, making it a secondary source (The earliest and the latest are both primary sources, with the earliest being written as early as the first generation).

"Just in the last 20 years, there have been numerous major events which have had lies and distortions and legends creep into the story literally within days of the event. The 9/11 attacks, the Boston marathon bombing, the Sutherland Springs shooting in Texas, and others." Have any of those distortions entered the historical record?

"Where's the contemporary evidence outside the Bible?" So abundant that it converted investigative journalist and former atheist Lee Strobel.

Yes, Matthew, Mark, and Luke were written decades after the death of Jesus. Less than four, that is.
