(btw that thing is called void, I put it there because it was the final boss of a mode in kirby star allies called the ultimate choice, and one of the difficulties for that mode was soul melter EX, and it is extremely hard)

Well after beating void i discovered, no. Apparently void doesn't have the power to turn your friends evil. I guess they didn't want to make an already hard fight even harder.

Huh. But then again, there are a few boss fights even worse...

Speaking of void, do you also think he's the saddest boss in the kirby series? I mean, he's basically a kirby that neer experienced love or happiness. Not only that, but a part of his boss theme is a somber and depressing piano remix of the main theme of the kirby franchise. Why does kirby always have bosses that look unnerving, or have a deep backstory?

I think Dark Daroach is sadder to be honest. Sure, Void is sad, but after the temporary team up you and Daroach had to get the chest back from Meta Knight, after you got it back, Daroach stole the chest from you. It was made to make you feel upset, but if you think about it from Daroach’s point of view, he took the chest from Kirby because the leader of the Squeaks didn’t wanted Kirby to be possessed by Dark Nebula.

People may think of this act of Daroach being greedy, but Daroach was trying to save Kirby’s HIDE from Dark Matter. And in a way, he succeeded. And after you beat Dark Daroach, you feel bad for him in a way. Kirby was after the chest with Dark Nebula in it because he thought it had his cake. However, Daroach and Meta Knight knew otherwise.

That's actually a pretty decent theory even if I don't completely believe it. But you can view events like this in kirby however you want, like how I see characters like marx and dark meta knight are dream friends because they regret what they did in the past. I mean, why else would they be dream friends other than fan service?

I found a webcomic called Epicly Random: A Sonic Comic, and Issue #111 explains how Kirby befriended Marx. 20 issues later when Marx said how Kirby was going to make amends with Dark Meta Knight however, Kirby said he had no clue.

Speaking of comics, I found a comic called world of kirby (no not the stream). It's a comic where everyone looks like they were drawn in MS paint and all the text is comic sans. It's actually a pretty funny comic in my opinion and if you want to read it, you can find the comics on deviantart by looking for the used DDDiLloveDDDisLife (yes, something good came out of deviant art).

And speaking of Kirby comics, I found 20 Times Kirby. Paint Panic arc is still my favorite (the one where Raven gets possessed by Drawcia and gets sick of Larry’s shit).
