First off, I love you, second, I have a deep understanding of these. These three words all more or less are the same. Wicca is a largely appropriated practice of witchcraft that is considered pagan as it is not a mainstream religion. Most pagans worship multiple deities, but Pagan only refers to a religion that is not mainstream. Shintoism is a largely agnostic religion that can be combined with others as a type of cultural practice. Shintoism is Pagan.
Witchcraft refers to lots of historic practices with roots in Christmas traditions occasionally. It generally entails using symbols to pray to a God and manifest an outcome. It also can be as simple as making a certain dish during a time of year for a certain purpose. I used to make Easter cookies as a kid, which can be considered a ritual because we specifically made them to Honor Christ the same way ppl in the past would make cakes as offerings to deities.
As someone who actually gets visions, all these gifts are more lackluster than you think. The biggest difference is the flashiness of it. The more flashy it is, the more it's probably fake. But books don't really impact these things so much unless you take everything at face value. I've read books on witchcraft and you can always tell which different religion the author is based on different tidbits. But if you recognize them, it's not hard to ignore.
