The movies never made mention of the possibility that Neville could be the one Trelawney spoke about, as well, but that it only became Harry because Voldemort (unwittingly) turned Harry into a Horcrux, "marking him as his equal" in the process. Which is really a pity....
And when this happens, you realize that mistake in the movies is one of dear consequences...
