In order for All Lives to Matter, Black Lives have to Matter, too. But as it stands, the former is used to discredit the latter.

Indeed, and vice-versa! (For all lives to matter, black lives have to matter, too)

But there’s two big problems with ALM:

1. No one started saying “All Lives Matter” until people started saying Black Lives Matter. The ALM slogan has specifically used ever since to discredit those fighting for reform and justice;
2. “All Lives Matter” doesn’t do anything. It is not a real organization and has no plan to improve the lives of anyone.

That's not true. Blm is exclusive to ethnic blacks, hence black lives matter
For all lives to matter, white, yellow, red, orange, etc lives have to matter but I don't hear anyone going around saying that
