History: River City Clan is a language spoken by, funnily enough, the River City Clan, who were a group of Neanderthals living in the stone age in the book The Spirit Well, by Stephen R. Lawhead. It has an extremely limited vocabulary, since the Clan usually communicated via telepathy. Language: River City Clan; Creator: Stephen R. Lawhead; Purpose: within the story, the language acts as a means by which Kit Livingstone communicates with the River City Clan, since he doesn't share their telepathic abilities. Example: En-ul e-na (The Old One drinks water)
