The fact that the law says something is acceptable has no bearing on the fact that people stopped doing it. Its a stupid line of reasoning, Every state has some archaic 200 year old law on the books that people forgot existed and haven't removed it, but simply because it exists doesn't mean the state has an issue with people utilising it.

Again, Islamic slavery massively supersedes American slavery by phenomenal percentages in both time length and the extent of slavery and by definition can never be matched by America even if they started it up again.
