Yeah, only about 1% of people owned slaves. My ancestors came here from Europe and became sharecroppers, pretty much slaves in everything but name only.

Here is why black people are the poorest most criminal demographic:
The CIA pushed drug and rap culture on them which vilifies getting a job and staying with your family. It instead praises dealing illegal drugs, cop killing, gang violence, sex outside marriage and leaving your family.
If black people would abandon that culture, then they would rise out of poverty. All the statistics show there is no systemic racism. In fact the opposite is true. There are more programs to help black people get out of poverty than there are for any other race.
If they would stop aborting their babies, they would also be the most populous in a generation or two.
