Yeah, I think the problem is that people get power hungry and easily jealous. You know? I watched this one video my friend showed me and it was really weird, but once you really study the video and all, it actually tells a really good moral that I feel would help in the whole ImgFlip situation and such.
This is the video:

Here is my summary of the video:
So, I believe that he was going to the other kingdom JUST to get another crown, which he kills the king of that other kingdom just to get that crown. Even with another crown, he wants MORE. Yet, the thing is, by killing the king, the prior king's people go homeless, which the greedy king who wants all the crowns doesn't care. The same happens when he goes off and kills the kings of the other kingdoms just for their crowns, which wreaks havoc upon the land. This is mainly showing that that dude is an unlawful, greedy, heartless king who only wants power. As you saw, he gets a very small crown, so he just puts it on his finger, and when he sees that crown on his finger later, he cuts off his own finger cause he only wants power and that crown, basically forgetting that its his own finger. Yet, after soon getting too much power he ends up dying, but dodges death. Then, he goes to a place where it seems the dead kings reside, and the "Death God", the only one with a crown there, well, that dude who wanted all the crowns now wants that crown, but he does not succeed no matter how much he tries. Then, when he makes his own crown out of a napkin, the Death God takes it and wears it, which I believe that Death God was mocking the other one, trying to show how the other kings felt for him taking their crowns, which makes him lose it and scream at the Death God, making the Death God give up his crown, which leads to the greedy king drifting off into space, perhaps to never be seen again.
The morals may simply be:
Don't get power hungry.
Put yourself in other people's shoes.
Fame/Money/Power/Etc. isn't everything.
