lol, below now. And I saw it. At first glance it may appear to be a good analogy, however, parents value their children more than they would value some other random child. It changes from person to person.
How other people are valued shouldn't change from person to person based on ethnicity. That's the basis of racism. Thus "all lives matter"

That's not what it is though. Saying black lives matter separates people's value based on race, whether you know it or not. In fact, a lot of people in black lives matter insist that whites should bow to blacks. That doesn't sound like equality to me.

This is not really the stream for extended political discussions, but since you asked:

--Blacks are more likely to be stopped by cops for "routine traffic stops," which are the gateway for receiving hefty municipal fines or even entry into the criminal justice system.
--When they occur, police interactions involving black suspects are more likely to escalate -- even to the point of murder, as we saw with George Floyd and we've seen many times in the past particularly the past several years with other unarmed black suspects.
--The black-white wealth gap is shamefully large and rising. This is product of centuries of slavery, a full century of Jim Crow, and an economy that hasn't worked well for poor people in general ever since Jim Crow ended. Wealth and privilege gets passed down from generation to generation, and blacks in this country have historically had fewer opportunities to get "on the ladder" so to speak.
--Segregation continues to exist in practical terms even if not enforced by law. Majority-Black neighborhoods and communities receive less business investment and government funding than others. Schools are worse, in an economy where education is paramount. This perpetuates the cycle of poverty.
--In studies involving hypothetical job applications with two equally-credentialed candidates, the candidate with a traditionally "black-sounding" name is significantly less likely to get a callback.

Just the first things that come to mind. And in the aggregate, I find them sufficient to justify a statement like "black lives matter."

Whites shouldn't "bow to blacks," but we have an obligation to learn about these issues and do our part to fix them.

Perhaps instead of relying on government welfare, people should work for a living. Maybe more of them could "get on the ladder" then.

And the black unemployment rate is at it's lowest ever under Trump.
