Yup, my whole entire complete life except for when I traveled to foreign lands. Yup I know a lot about the American Revolution, read the first 3 volume written history about it, written by a lady. All the f-s looked like S-s because of printing technology. We all know the first patriot killed in the Revolution was a black man. Great questions but they don't have a thing to do with this meme.

Proverbs 28:2 "A land that transgresses is punished by having many rulers." God judged America from the get-go.

I do not align myself with the people of the blocked off area of Seattle.

However, I do believe the government has usurped too much power and influence over the every day activities of life. Though we may not be under "absolute Tyranny"; we are on that path. It is not going to be achieved by dems *or* reps, but the collective ruling party that uses the two to keep people at odds.

The verse you cite is taken entirely out of context. If you wanted to you could find dozens of other verses that can be lifted out of context to try to make your point. The fact remains that the US has been so richly blessed by the hand of God, and that fact is backed by irrefutable evidence found in the real history of the nation, not the distorted version of history put forth by people with evil objectives.
Bottom line is this meme has nothing to do with God. The principle applies to godless as well as Godly nations. If you don't follow the rules of the society where you are and inject your own rules into the situation as you see fit, you aren't going to reap the rewards of that society.
I can follow US laws regarding commerce to a t as a heroin dealer, free market rules, the whole thing. I could employ thousands, bank millions, support charities- you name it, but our rules say dealing deadly and destructive drugs is not permitted and there will be a consequence for violating that one rule. How can I reasonably expect the society to reward me, after all I only changed a few things to get a successful business I wanted?
The example in the meme only changes the rules regarding one item used in the game of football, what type of ball to use. You can still try to kick a field goal with my hypothetical rule change, but you aren't going to get the reward of 3 game winning points on the board.
I'll grant you that there is also an element of twisted humor in the meme, I never expected everyone to get that. Would it have been better if I mocked the running game, or the passing game?
