One thing my black boyfriend can't stand is when white people like YOU keep telling him he's oppressed because of the 5% Americans (including black people) who kept black people who were sold from black people in Africa to black people in America as slaves...
AND THAT MAKES HIM OPPRESSED.
As a grown black man, he can't stand white people telling him constantly he is oppressed. He thinks it's quite racist white people think he can't get a loan on his own, he can't do anything on his own, or how he's constantly abuse because he's constantly oppressed.
I literally hear him bitching about it ALL day long. THEN he plays videos of other black folks bitching about it!
I literally cannot escape it, I almost want to break up with him because he's complaining about racism from white people too much. But it's not the kind of racism YOU think, because you think you're anti-racist by telling him he's oppressed.
It almost makes me sound like I'm racist because I want to break up with him because he complains about racism too much.
The only reason why he and lots of other black folks complain is because of white people like you!

And I'm over here sitting here waiting for white people and black people to care about the indigenous population - ehem that is the population who is truly suffering systemic oppression from not only the government, but the media, white people and black people alike.
Until people start protesting and caring for the indigenous population on the land we took from them and we are still on that land, and I don't see any black folk trying to give up their land to Indian folk, then I really don't care about any of this because in my eyes you're a hypocrite and so is everybody else!!!
