He's actually 100% correct on the only level he was talking about. Statistics do not lie. More white people are indeed killed by cops every year. This is mainly because white people represent a much large percentage of the population. If you look at it from a per capita perspective, then blacks are killed by cops at a higher rate.

You seem to have jumped the gun on Frush. All he/she did was post what is factual. Emotions seem to dictate how many people respond and it seems that your emotions overpowered your logical reasoning. It's okay, that'll happen. But, it's really important to state facts. Perpetuating falsehoods only hurts whatever cause/agenda someone has.

By cops, yes, I agree that blacks are killed at a higher rate, per capita...but I do not buy that it is because cops see black skin and hate boils over in them and they just decide to murder blacks because of their hatred for them. These killings are nearly always in the heat of the moment and oftentimes there are situations where if the officer does not defend themself, they could be killed. These issues are never black and white. The truth is always somewhere in the grey area. But people want to make statements like "all cops are bastards" (ACAB), and it just simply is the furthest thing from the truth. If someone tries to take a cop's gun, or successfully does so, don't you think that cop has the right to defend themself instead of just hoping that the criminal party does not kill them?

Also, please don't pretend there aren't any racist black people who hate white people. I've worked with some who were openly anti-white and espoused hatred for all white people. There have been killings of white people committed by black people simply because the white people have white skin. And vice a versa. Human beings are sometimes bad people, and they do bad things. No one race is immune from this.

But, I do agree that, statistically, more blacks are killed by cops PER CAPITA. But, then you have to dig into crime statistics and decide for yourself if there is a reason for that, other than blatant racism. Blatant racism exists for sure, but it's not as rampant as some would lead you to believe.

Some of this comment is opinion, but a lot of it is factual. If you take a cop's gun, be prepared to be shot by another other cop because even cops have the right to defend themselves.

I suppose we could completely abolish the police, but then who are you going to call when you are being robbed or when someone you know is being assaulted/raped/killed? Police are a necessary in society. If there was no crime, they would not be, but that is obviously a pipe dream that only a crack addict would believe. There will always be crime because there will always be bad people. How to deal with the criminals is debatable.

Are you seriously telling me that no black people are racist??? I've witnessed over racism from blacks and it was targeted at the white warehouse workers I worked with. It went both ways and people were fired for it. There are racists in every demographic you can think of. There are also plenty of new articles you can read where black people committed hate crimes against people of other races. Of course, the same can be said of any race, with the target being any other race. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but it sounded like you were saying blacks are immune from being racists, which is obviously not true. No race can declare that none of the people of that race are racists. It's just common sense that it is a false statement.

I didn't say we're immune to being racist, but the wrong-minded people who are racist are mostly white. (No offense if you are white) but I haven't seen any blacks discriminating against whites. I don't see how that's possible. For instance, whites are attacking (verbally and physically) like calling us n****s, which only black people can say.(me). I experienced racism in 1st grade, where almost all of my white classmates (mostly in other classes) would avoid me, and leave me out, and get akward when I had something to say. It hurts man. Especially that same year where I said hi to a white girl, just to be nice, and her racist a$$ replied, " I don't like brown people. I don't think any white kids in their school would experience any of that. Name one time when you saw a white being attacked by a black, saying I hate white people, or getting akward when close. You would never understand the pain ALL of us blacks have been through, because you are privileged, and nobody would understand, or care, what all of us blacks tried to say, be, or do

That's nice of you to say that, but there is nothing for me to understand. I understand this perfectly. You don't believe blacks can be racist towards white people. I have firsthand experience with it. I've been called racist names before by a coworker, who was black, and who was fired for it. A white person chimed in and said something equally racist tot the black racist and it escalated into a fight between the two. I tried to break it up, only to be punched in the face. I've witnessed other poor treatment of whites at the hands of black at fast food restaurants and food trucks; where whites were told to wait because they were in the wrong neighborhood...giving preferential treatment to the mostly-black neighborhood folks. I grew up in an extremely poor household. The privilege that I supposedly had sure didn't seem like much when there were few opportunities for anyone in the communities in which I lived. Racist is not a one way street, and until black people recognize that, I cannot carry a BLM sign down the street.

I don't think this is a feud. It is a discussion. One in which we strongly disagree with one another. I don;t expect to change your mind, and I hope you don;t think you're going to change mine. I've experienced black-on-white racism. No one can take away those experiences! I've also experienced blatant Hispanic-on-white racism when I worked for a masonry run by a Hispanic crew. Every race on the face of the Earth commits acts of racism. It's blindly obvious that it is impossible for an entire race of people to be Scot-free of racist behavior.
