YAAA you're probably ganna want to do some research on that. And if this made coffee come out your nose, I would highly recommend not being any where near the stuff when you do.

So you want me to ignore the party that started the klan, supported and protected the klan, the party that provided legal protection for the klan and look into the other party to see if I can find where they infiltrated that one, is that all? Even if I find a man like David Duke that kept switching parties, that doesn't change the historical or current connections between democrats and the klan.

Democrats didn't create the klan, the klan was created by fanatically religious, pro-authoritarian, nationalists which 150 years ago were primarily southern Democrat which where then considered America's right wing faction compared to what at the time was the liberal Republican faction. In 1936 Franklin Roosevelt began regulating businesses, created social security and welfare and more as part of the New Deal to end the great depression resulting in the Democratic party slowly becoming liberal over the next decade while the Republican party became the right wing party, and thus since the party sharing their ideologies shifted the KKK followed becoming primarily republican.

I guess you never heard of Nathan Bedford Forrest. The democrats of yesteryear had the same exact goals as the democrats of today. I know that you know the Republicans have always been the only political party to support black rights. Just like I know you are spinning history with leftest talking points on the assumption that telling the lies over and over again will somehow make people believe them but you are wrong. You do not get to change history because you do not like it. Confederates fought an all powerful central government because they did not think it represented them, the same lies the black lives matter movement uses to justify violence today.
The Klan is no longer the driving force behind the democrats but that doesn't erase the linkage with them or forgive the rise of replacement groups using the same violence and tactics. Democrats have and never will change and nether will Republicans.

You know the first thing you learn in debating is not to assume the person your talking to is using the same tactics as yourself, might want to consider that in the future.

If I'm wrong then please, name even ONE democrat in the last 50 years who was part of the KKK.

And if you still think I'm wrong, please go up to a KKK member and call them a liberal democrat and see what happens, I'll wait.

Lol, cute but you are claiming my meme was wrong, prove it
0 ups, 4y
You're the one making the initial claim, the burden of proof is on you here. The best you've come up with is that a bunch of long dead democrats created the KKK, which I've never disputed and even agreed with. Yet you can't produce one ounce of evidence that shows that the modern day KKK are not Republican. Go ahead, just one name of a democrat KKK member in the last 50 years? Or how about even a picture taken in that time of a democrat wearing a KKK uniform? Go ahead, even one and I'll admit I was wrong.

Biden's and Robert Bird were buddies but you already knew that

I stopped reading your crap when you played the 50 year BS, Dems are triggered by statues that are older and the claim that blacks are owed because of slavery. You pick and choose when history matters, ignore the racist polices that continue to keep blacks in poverty, ignore all the positive things Trump has done for all minorities, including blacks and forget about Obama's failures. You do not even see how racist it is to assume that blacks need saving. All you can do is drop fake race cards because your party has a history of failing everyone but targets blacks.

So you stop listening when the evidence starts to prove you wrong. Thanks for admitting it at least.

Did you even read that part about IN THE LAST 50 YEARS? Robert Bird was in the KKK in the mid 1940's (back when it was still the conservative party) and left in 1952 (which is completely in line with when the parties began changing stances) and would later go on to say joining was one of the worst decisions of his life. While I thank you for providing evidence to help my side of the argument the entire point was you were supposed to post something that proves either the parties didn't switch or that there's been a KKK in democratic party in the last 50 years not supports it.

As for the Biden clip, if you actually listened to it, A. it's supporting the rejection of giving the KKK a federal charter, and B. the " Many fine people" line was referencing to a speech given by a DIFFERENT senator, who also happened to opposed to giving them a federal charter (and if calling them "many fine people" makes you a member of the KKK I've got bad news for you about the current president, you may want to stay away from the coffee when you read it).

Again I repeat do can you name even ONE democrat in the KKK IN THE LAST 50 YEARS?
