Okay, perfect. I recomend the Unwind series, it can be a bit twisted and dark, but not really overly so. Really good story though. Lord of the Flies and Of Mice and Men are pretty twisted. Cringey: I have to say the Selection series, it gets you hooked even though it is insanely cringe. Same with any teen romance, but you need to find the good ones that don't end in (pardon me saying this) the main characters having sex. Mm, I have to recommend LotR and The Hobbit as a licensed Tolkien nerd,a nd all of his other books. Ooh, the Queen of Hearts series is really good, pretty dark. I'll try to think of others:)
