1. There is no comparison between Ebola and Corona. This is like comparing Flu with Aids --The occurrence, transmission and overall situation are completely different.
2. Everyone constantly complains about Trumps handling of the situation... well where are the politicians who offered anything that would indicate they would have done a better job?
Following the time-lines, when Trump closed the borders and began all other restrictions literally zero politicians were asking for stronger measures, earlier measures, or infact any measures at all.
Actually, at the same time Trump was saying the border should be shut, several liberal politicians and the media as a whole were arguing that the action was racist, several liberal politicians were seen in China Town celebrating new year in crowded areas and several major news outlets were still arguing that the virus wasn't an issue..
Its easy to complain about someone doing their job --not so easy to demonstrate how you would have done a better job in real time, rather than in retrospect..
